HYBRAIN at the Unconventional Computing Workshop and Brainspiration 2024
HYBRAIN recently solidified its leadership in the fields of neuromorphic and unconventional computing, co-organizing two major workshops: the 87th Workshop on Unconventional Computing in Erice, Italy, and Brainspiration 2024 in Groningen, Netherlands.
These events, attended by a diverse range of experts, researchers, and industry leaders, provided a unique platform for HYBRAIN to showcase its advancements and pivotal contributions to the future of computing.
At the Unconventional Computing workshop in Erice, Wilfred G. van der Wiel, HYBRAIN’s coordinator and one of the organizers of the event, provided an in-depth perspective on Dopant Network Processing Units (DNPUs), a cornerstone of HYBRAIN’s technology aimed at unlocking unprecedented performance in silicon-based neuromorphic systems.
HYBRAIN also contributed to the poster session with a poster, where the team engaged attendees with explanations of their research, attracting interest and sparking dialogues on future collaborations.
At Brainspiration 2024 in Groningen, HYBRAIN continued to amplify its presence, this time within a framework focused on brain-inspired computing.
